La Paz
Days 2 to 4 · La Paz
A coastal party with live music welcomes you to Baja. With marine naturalists you watch, and if you wish swim beside, whale sharks in the Sea of Cortez, and you can join shark or turtle tagging with researchers, play golf or visit the spa.
Kona
Days 5 to 6 · Kona
You stay on the Kohala Coast and head out on a private boat to watch humpback whales, along with dolphins, manta rays and turtles. A beach luau ends the day.
Tokyo and Jigokudani
Days 7 to 10 · Tokyo and Jigokudani
You hike through Joshinetsu Kogen National Park to see snow monkeys bathing in natural hot springs. Back in Tokyo you choose temples and markets, Meiji Shrine or a shopping guide, and a geisha hosts a celebration dinner.
Borneo
Days 11 to 12 · Borneo
You watch proboscis monkeys at a private feeding and cruise the Kinabatangan wetlands for birds and wildlife. At Sepilok you go behind the scenes as young orangutans learn to return to the forest.
Panna National Park
Days 13 to 15 · Panna National Park
Morning and afternoon drives with an expert tracker search for Bengal tigers, leopards and sloth bears. You can also see the carved temples of Khajuraho, an artisan project for young Pardhi women or a Bundelkhand village.
Mahé
Days 16 to 18 · Mahé
You stay in the hills above Petite Anse Bay and visit Victoria's market and its colourful Hindu temple. Snorkelling with a marine biologist, paddleboarding, a summit meditation or spa time fill your days.
Volcanoes National Park
Days 19 to 21 · Volcanoes National Park
You trek into the forest to spend an hour with a mountain gorilla family, then hear from a gorilla vet and visit the research centre founded by Dian Fossey. A golden monkey trek or a local market is your final choice.
Maasai Mara or Amboseli
Days 22 to 24 · Maasai Mara or Amboseli
A charter flight takes you to your choice of the predator-rich Maasai Mara or Amboseli's elephants below Kilimanjaro. Game drives, a balloon safari with Champagne breakfast, a Maasai village and a local school fill your stay.
Malta
Day 25 · Malta
You visit St John's Co-Cathedral privately after hours, then follow one of Malta's oldest marching bands through the streets to a village feast with food, music and dancing.
Boston
Day 26 · Boston
You lunch in the air on your last private jet flight and land in Boston for your onward connection.

You start in Fairbanks with a dog musher's welcome dinner, gold panning and reindeer in the spruce forest. A dome rail car takes you to Denali for a guided hike, a wildlife drive and a helicopter landing on a glacier. You drive the remote Denali Highway to Valdez to kayak a glacial lake, then cruise Prince William Sound to Whittier and end at a mountain resort in Girdwood.

New York City → Saint John → Halifax → Sydney → Gaspé → Sept-Îles → Saguenay → Québec City
You spend three days uncovering lesser-known New York before boarding your ship. The voyage calls at the Bay of Fundy, Halifax, Cape Breton and the Magdalen Islands, then follows the Gulf of St. Lawrence to Gaspé, Sept-Îles and Baie-Comeau. Whale watching in the Saguenay fjord and a day in Québec City end the journey.
