Arusha
Day 1 · Arusha
You arrive in Arusha, at the foot of Mount Meru, and rest after your flight.
Ngorongoro Crater
Day 2 · Ngorongoro Crater
You fly to Ndutu and drive to your camp near the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world.
Day 3 · Ngorongoro Crater
You descend the 600-metre crater walls to watch lions, elephants, hyenas and gazelles on the caldera floor.
Day 4 · Ngorongoro Crater
You go back down early, when the wildlife is most active, to look for buffalo, elephants and more.
Serengeti National Park
Day 5 · Serengeti National Park
You fly to the Serengeti, an ecosystem that stretches from the Ngorongoro Highlands almost to Lake Victoria.
Days 6 to 7 · Serengeti National Park
Two full days of morning and afternoon drives search for lions, leopards, buffalo and elephants, as well as giraffes, gazelles and zebras.
Amboseli National Park
Day 8 · Amboseli National Park
You fly to Arusha for lunch, then drive across the border to Amboseli and its elephant herds below Kilimanjaro.
Day 9 · Amboseli National Park
You watch elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas, then end the day with a drink in the bush.
Day 10 · Amboseli National Park
You look for cheetahs, elephants framed by Kilimanjaro and some of the park's hundreds of bird species.
Nairobi
Day 11 · Nairobi
You fly to Nairobi and rest in a day room before your flight home.

Arusha → Arusha National Park → Machame → Barranco → Kosovo Camp → Uhuru Peak → Arusha
You begin with an acclimatisation walk in Arusha National Park, between Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The climb follows the Machame Route through rainforest, moorland and the Barranco canyon, with two shorter days built in to help you adjust. Summit day takes you to Uhuru Peak before you descend for a farewell dinner in Arusha.
Tanzania

Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Serengeti National Park → Maasai Mara National Reserve → Nairobi
You begin near Arusha, then head into Tarangire, a lesser-visited park full of elephants and lions. Three days on the Serengeti follow before you cross into Kenya for the Maasai Mara. You finish in Nairobi.
You fly from Arusha to Ndutu and stay near the Ngorongoro Crater, descending to its floor twice. Three days on the Serengeti follow before you fly back to Arusha and drive across the border into Kenya. Your last three nights are at a new lodge beside Amboseli, with Kilimanjaro on the skyline.
