Negombo
Day 1 · Negombo
Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative and transferred to Uga Riva in Negombo, a drive of approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Check in and settle into your accommodation. The day is designed for rest after your journey, with no scheduled sightseeing or long drives inland. Breakfast is included on Day 2.
Sigiriya
Day 2 · Sigiriya
After a relaxed breakfast, depart from the airport region around 10:00 to 10:30 and travel inland with your private chauffeur. The drive to Water Garden Sigiriya takes approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours, with comfort and lunch stops extending it to 4.5 to 5.5 hours. There are no sightseeing stops planned for today. Arrive in the afternoon, settle into your villa, and enjoy the gardens, water features, and your private plunge pool. The evening introduces you to Sri Lankan flavours with an unhurried dinner.
Day 3 · Sigiriya
Begin your day with breakfast, followed by a private introduction to Sigiriya's royal gardens and museum. The gardens offer a gentle exploration, while the rock climb is an optional experience for those who enjoy steps and heights. If you choose to climb, an early departure is recommended to avoid the warmest part of the day. Return for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at your villa and pool. A short countryside drive can be arranged as an alternative to the historic visit if preferred.
Hatton (Ceylon Tea Trails)
Day 4 · Hatton (Ceylon Tea Trails)
After breakfast, depart around 08:30 and journey into the scenic hills of Sri Lanka. The drive from Sigiriya to Ceylon Tea Trails near Hatton takes approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, with breaks and lunch extending it to 6.5 to 8 hours. This day is dedicated to enjoying the changing landscapes, with no additional temple visits or Kandy sightseeing planned. Arrive at your bungalow in the late afternoon, settle in, and enjoy afternoon tea while discussing your dining preferences with the chef.
Day 5 · Hatton (Ceylon Tea Trails)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before immersing yourselves in the craftsmanship of Ceylon tea. A hosted visit to a local estate or factory will guide you through the tea-making process, from the plant to your cup. Return for lunch, then spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden, by the bungalow pool, or over afternoon tea. A gentle estate walk of about 45 to 60 minutes can be added if you wish, with a route chosen for your comfort.
Galle
Day 6 · Galle
Depart around 09:00 after breakfast and travel towards the southern coast. The scenic drive from Tea Trails to Le Grand Galle takes approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, with breaks and lunch extending it to 6.5 to 7.5 hours. This is a comfortable transfer day with no additional sightseeing commitments. Arrive in Galle during the afternoon and settle into Le Grand Galle. If you feel energised, a short private transfer to Galle Fort can be arranged for a gentle stroll before dinner; otherwise, relax at the hotel.
Day 7 · Galle
After breakfast, transfer to Galle Fort, a short 5 to 15 minute drive, and explore with a private storyteller. The pace of your exploration will be tailored to your interests, allowing you to discover the fort's layered history through its lanes, courtyards, and architectural details. An artisan encounter, such as jewellery design or a local craft demonstration, will be included without any obligation to purchase. Return to the hotel for a relaxed lunch and a quiet afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a walk along the ramparts as the light softens, followed by dinner together.
Day 8 · Galle
Today is dedicated to relaxation at the hotel, with no scheduled road travel. Enjoy the hotel's gardens, pool, reading, and leisurely meals. A couples' spa ritual can be arranged after breakfast or during the afternoon, allowing ample time before and after your chosen treatment. If you wish to explore further, a short transfer can take you to revisit a favourite café or boutique within the Fort. Conclude your Sri Lankan journey with a special farewell dinner, leaving the main beach experience for the Maldives.

Day 9 · Maldives
Enjoy breakfast before a private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport, approximately 2.5 to 3 hours away. Allow around 3 hours at the airport for international check-in. Your flight from Colombo to Malé is approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Malé, you will continue your journey to your selected island resort via speedboat, seaplane, or domestic flight connection. The specific transfer details and daylight requirements will be provided once your resort is confirmed.
Days 10 to 13 · Maldives
Spend these romantic days in the Maldives, settling into an elegant beach or overwater villa. Enjoy long, leisurely breakfasts, immerse yourselves in the turquoise lagoons, and savour sunset moments together. This part of your honeymoon is designed for you to unwind and enjoy at your own pace. Optional enhancements like a couples' spa ritual, a sunset cruise, and a private beach dinner can be arranged across these days.
Day 14 · Maldives
After a final breakfast at your resort, you will be transferred to Malé International Airport for your onward journey, concluding your honeymoon.
