Day 1 · Lucca
Your driver meets you at Florence Airport for the short run to Lucca. In the afternoon a local guide walks you through a town that has kept its medieval shape, from the Guinigi Tower to the oval Piazza dell'Anfiteatro and the Cathedral of San Martino. If you land late, the tour moves to the next day.
Pisa
Day 2 · Pisa
Drive to Pisa to meet your guide in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Climb the Leaning Tower, step inside the cathedral and see the round Baptistery with its carved pulpit, then the frescoes of the Monumental Cemetery before returning to Lucca.
Siena
Day 3 · Siena
Your driver takes you south to Siena, a red-brick city across three hills. In the afternoon a guide shows you the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, home of the Palio horse race each July and August, the Palazzo Pubblico and its tower, and the striped marble cathedral.
Chianti
Day 4 · Chianti
A guided day among the vineyards, old churches and castles of Chianti. Tour the cellars of a winery and taste its wines with charcuterie and bruschetta, then stop in the walled village of Monteriggioni for a coffee or gelato.
Siena
Day 5 · Siena
A day to yourselves. Stay in Siena, or take the train to Buonconvento, San Gimignano or the thermal baths at Rapolano Terme.
Florence
Day 6 · Florence
Drive north to Florence and spend the day at your own pace: the cathedral, baptistery and Giotto's bell tower, then a sunset walk along the Arno and across the Ponte Vecchio with its goldsmiths' shops. Finish with an aperitivo near the Piazza della Signoria.
Day 7 · Florence
Your guide collects you from the hotel for guided visits of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia, home of Michelangelo's David. On the way, the Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi and the Fountain of Neptune.
Day 8 · Florence
After breakfast your driver takes you to the airport at an agreed time.
