Day 2 · Shanghai
Begin in Yu Garden, a Ming dynasty garden built by an official for his parents, and the old bazaar around it. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple and its two statues from Burma, then after lunch walk Nanjing Road to the Bund, the riverfront that sums up the city.
Day 3 · Shanghai
A free day for shopping, the museums or simply resting. If you would like a guide, choose one of three full-day trips out of the city.
Day 4 · Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel, then a private transfer to the airport or railway station.
