Silavadee spreads down a granite headland on Laem Nan, so most ceremonies look straight out to sea. The private beach, enclosed by boulders and reached by a rustic stone staircase, holds up to 80 guests for vows and the same number for a reception on the sand. For something smaller, the Silavadee Sun Deck sits on the cliff with a 270-degree outlook and takes 50 for a ceremony or 40 for dinner, while the Ocean Front Pool Villa Suite hosts ceremonies of up to 35.

Your stay

The resort has 80 rooms in total, from Jacuzzi Deluxe rooms to pool villas and pool villa suites of up to 300 square metres, many with infinity-edge private pools facing the Gulf of Thailand. Buggies take guests up and down the hillside.

Couples choose a Thai or Western ceremony. Groups under 30 usually sit down to set menus, and larger groups move to a buffet, with Moon restaurant and the private Sun dinner venue both overlooking Lamai Bay. The wedding team typically meets with every supplier the day before so the timings are settled, and DJs, bands, florals and photography can be arranged through them.
