An all-villa hotel on Koh Fahn, a private island off Choeng Mon on Samui's north-east coast, that can be booked outright for a wedding.

Your wedding

Cape Fahn sits on its own small island just off Koh Samui, reached by a short boat crossing from the mainland. Ceremonies take place on the dedicated Wedding Terrace, an open-air platform looking out to the horizon, or on the beach. Both Thai Buddhist ceremonies, with a monk blessing and a long drum procession, and Western ceremonies with a celebrant are offered for up to 60 guests, and the Western option is set against a cliff edge.

Your stay

Accommodation is all pool villas, set across about 2.5 hectares. Categories run from Tropical and Deluxe Pool Villas of 300 sqm to hillside Bay View and Ocean View villas, Beach Front Pool Villas of 450 sqm, a Tropical 2 Bedroom Pool Villa and the 600 sqm Fahn Noi villa on its own neighbouring islet.

Receptions usually move to Long Dtai, the hotel's seaside fine-dining restaurant specialising in Southern Thai cooking. Couples can choose a seated set menu, a buffet, or a looser cocktail evening on the beach, and an after-party on the sand can follow. Because the whole hotel can be reserved, many couples book the island for 2 nights or more and keep the celebration entirely private.

Between events, guests can paddle board or kayak, take a Thai dessert class, try Thai dance or Muay Thai, or eat a picnic with their feet in the sea. The hotel's yacht runs sunset cruises, and there is a spa, gym and pools on the island.
