Villa Gloriante sits on the northern edge of the Chianti Classico hills, about 25 minutes from Florence, and was for generations both a residence of noted Florentine households and the hub of a Chianti Classico wine business. Restored by its owner from 1999, it pairs an old Tuscan mansion with a botanical garden and long views back to Florence.
The villa has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms over 3 floors, sleeping 16, including a barrier-free king room on the ground floor. Rooms are traditional in style, with air conditioning in each.
Ceremonies are held outdoors, most often on the panoramic terrace by the gazebo, looking over olive groves and vineyards. The garden and infinity pool carry the aperitivo, and dinner is served outside for up to about 150 guests. If the weather turns, the vaulted ground-floor rooms hold about 60.
