Villa Daniela is a restored country villa in the hills near Lucca, set in a formal Italian garden with views across olive groves and vineyards. Weddings here are garden affairs: a ceremony on the lawn, an aperitivo by the fenced pool, then dinner outdoors under the covered patio or across the garden, with up to about 80 guests outdoors.

Your stay

The original house has 11 restored bedrooms, mostly en suite, including 5 duplex rooms and a suite with a balcony over the gardens. A newer wing adds 5 larger modern bedrooms reached by lift, taking the villa to 16 bedrooms and up to 32 guests.

Indoors, the formal sitting room opens through French doors to the garden, and the dining room seats 22, which suits a rehearsal dinner or a smaller indoor celebration of about 40. Catering and extra services come only from the villa's own team, so the day runs with 1 kitchen and 1 set of staff who know the house. The owners live in a separate wing with its own entrance, which helps when a quick answer is needed.

Daily housekeeping and a continental breakfast are included, and a welcome dinner with local wine is served on weekly stays. Guests fill the quiet days with the pool, walks to the nearby village and short drives into Lucca for its walls, towers and cafes.
