Marrying Liverpool’s iconic grandeur with vibrant Indian rituals and 1SW Events delivered with precision, creativity, and a flair for drama.

Every element of the wedding was intentional. Candle shades were meticulously chosen, floral tones harmonized perfectly, and personal touches like a custom couple crest honoring family and life milestones, layered the celebration with meaning. The result? A series of events that told a cohesive, heartfelt story while leaving guests awestruck.

A Palette of Love: Color as Narrative

1SW Events took storytelling to the next level, using color progression to mirror the couple’s journey:

• Haldi: Bursts of sunshine yellows and golds symbolizing the first sparks of joy.
  

• Mehendi: Pastel florals and royal Bridgerton-inspired whimsy representing budding love.
  

• Wedding Ceremony & Dinner: Deep reds, burgundies, and opulent florals reflecting passion and commitment.
  

• Reception: Creams, golds, and candlelight evoking serenity, elegance, and the couple’s “happily ever after.”

From grand floral staircases at Liverpool Town Hall to floating chandeliers and candlelit walkways, each space created a chapter of Mihir and Aradhana’s love story.

Designing with Heart: The 1SW Events Approach

The magic behind this celebration wasn’t just in aesthetics, it was in collaboration. 1SW Events worked closely with the couple, creating moodboards, 2D and 3D layouts, and custom elements. Daily WhatsApp chats, late-night idea swaps, and in-person walkthroughs ensured every detail, from floral arrangements to music cues was flawless.

“The journey of designing alongside them was as memorable as the final celebration itself,” shared the team at 1SW Events.

Love Stories in Every Detail

Mihir and Aradhana’s romance was legendary: a first date hiking in the Peak District with squished peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, a seven-year long-distance affair, and a Bollywood-style proposal under the full moon in Aruba. These moments became tangible in the wedding design:

• Candlelit aisles reminiscent of the proposal in Aruba.

   

• A bespoke wishing tree at the Reception where guests shared memories and advice.

   

• Personalized floral and LED installations highlighting their love story and wedding hashtag.

   

Cultural traditions blended seamlessly, with vibrant Haldi celebrations, whimsical Mehendi décor, intense wedding reds, and serene, candlelit Reception elegance. British heritage shone through in the architectural splendor of St George’s Hall and Liverpool Town Hall, creating a true fusion of worlds.
