Bride-to-be Mandy Moore celebrated her engagement to Dawes front man Taylor Goldsmith in a fun-filled engagement party with her best friends last weekend and we couldn’t be more jealous!
The newly engaged actress celebrated with her nearest and dearest over an afternoon lunch at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, with each guest donning a pastel coloured tiara, while a ridiculously fun light-up crown was given to the bride-to-be.
Posting an Instagram of herself and her closest gal pals, including fellow This Is Us actress Susan Kelechi Watson and Minka Kelly, she wrote “My heart bursts for each and every one of these ladies. If you are the company you keep, then I am in excellent standing.”
The party itself was a modern take on a bridal shower and was organised by business mogul and friend Raina Penchansky, coming complete with games such as ‘Bridal Emoji Pictionary’, followed by a game of wedding themed Pictionary. “Thank you @rp1313 [Raina Penchansky] for being the greatest hosts/sister/bff and for giving us all a reason to hang, celebrate and enjoy some delightful gluten-free tea sandwiched (and champagne) like ladies do”, Moore wrote.
However, the star of the party was Moore’s mother who choked back tears while announcing how proud she was of her daughter. “I got a lot of congratulations from friends and such, and I said, ‘You know what, two wonderful people make two wonderful people’. And that’s the best I can say. I’m just so happy”. Naww we love cute mother of the bride moments!
Moore was spotted wearing an ‘understated’ engagement ring earlier this month, but it was only recently that the engagement was confirmed. We’re excited to see more from these two!
