The lavish Greek affair, however, wasn’t all it seemed!

As fans still remember, Anna McEvoy and Josh Packham won Love Island season 1, but as the cameras faded and the spotlight dimmed, their relationship faced challenges unseen by us Love Island bingers.
But, her search for love continued and she found Michael Staples!
2 years ago, the couple let fans know that they were on holiday in Greece. A fan asked where else the couple were travelling to.
“Just Greece. We only have two weeks and we didn’t want to overstretch ourselves. Sometimes it’s best to see less that you don’t finish your holiday exhausted!” Anna said.
Little did we know only that 2 years later they would be there again, announcing something even more surprising than their dating or holiday status––their wedding! But, there was one more surprise to come!

Looking back on their gorgeous destination wedding, Anna spilt on her podcast, Where’s Your Head At?:
“On the 28th of April, Michael and I sneaked off to the registry office with both sets of parents and had a registry secret wedding!” she chuckled to her co-host, Matt Zukowski.

Although we would love some BTS scenes, Anna and Michael Staples decided to keep their legal ceremony, which took place in Melbourne, private, marking a very special moment for the pair. Intimate courthouse weddings are so in right now, after all!
