Following a dreamy sunset proposal in Hawaii Khaela and George set about planning their fairy-tale Wedding.
The couple tied the knot on a beautiful autumn’s day in front of 220 of their closest friends and family, exactly two years after their engagement. “The day was perfect and exactly what we imagined it to be!” Bride Khaela excitedly told Wedded Wonderland.
The couple wanted their Special Day to have a warm and romantic feel to it, choosing a soft white and gold theme incorporated from the chairs right through to the invitations, and complemented beautifully with soft shades of pink and ivory florals.
Reflecting back on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland one of the most special moments of the night would have to be George’s Father’s speech. “It was extremely touching and really blew everyone away. It was the first time I have seen both George and his Dad get very emotional and it definitely created a few tears!”
Another memorable moment was the efforts Khaela’s Mother went to, to include her only sibling in the Wedding. “Due to unfortunate circumstances, my younger brother and only sibling was unable to attend the wedding. In order to make me feel like he was with me on the day, my Mum set up a huge projector screen during the speeches and played us his live speech from London. This was an extremely heart-warming moment.”
