Amador and Audra first crossed paths when they were both part of their college hip-hop dance team. With a shared love of hip-hop, jazz, and singers like Frank Sinatra, it was no surprise that the pair clicked.
When it came to the theme of their wedding, they knew they wanted to blend their love of music with a concept based on classic romance and elegance, all with a fun and modern twist.
Their choice of florals and vines provided an organic feel that gave the appearance that they were rooted into the whole venue at Vibiana, in the historic core of Downtown, Los Angeles.
“ByBees Flowers did an incredible job of achieving this look by creating low, wide and overgrown centrepieces of greenery with white and purple florals.”
These pieces gave the wedding that little bit something extra, emphasising the dramatic depth and height of the altar and transformed the whole venue into a lush indoor garden.
Sticking to the theme, the couple chose light grey linens and champagne napkins.
“This colour combination brought out both modern and masculine elements and also exuded the effortlessness of Sinatra.”
One of the major design details however, was the vintage classic microphone from the Emcee.
“The microphone was front-and-centre when he announced the traditional formalities with the style and grace of a 1950s performer.”
The wedding looked absolutely stunning as the happy couple danced the night away – even surprising all their guests with a choreographed dance routine!
