Jimmy is the founder of JIMKET Events, a Sydney-based wedding and event house that brings styling, planning and production under one roof. With more than a decade in the industry and a following of more than 160,000 on Instagram, he is one of the most recognisable names in Australian wedding design.
His work spans some of Sydney's grandest rooms, including weddings at Doltone House and Sydney Town Hall, and he has worked alongside Wedded Wonderland before as a Wedded Week ambassador. His philosophy is simple: "every event is a masterpiece waiting to be crafted."
JIMKET does not treat styling, planning and production as separate jobs. The same team shapes how a room looks, how it runs and how it changes through the night, which is why the finished events feel immersive rather than decorated. A ballroom can become somewhere guests have never been, even if they have attended a dozen weddings there.
His recent wedding for Joseph and Zeina at Doltone House shows that approach: a familiar venue, redesigned and reimagined from the entrance to the dance floor.
Jimmy is taking the JIMKET vision to Europe. In June 2027 his team will produce a three-day wedding on Mamula Island in Montenegro, with Mexico also on the calendar.
