Wedding dresses · Guide
There are events where you clock in, listen politely, and leave with a gift bag. And then there was The Wedded Salon.
Held at Aambra Rose Bay, Sydney was handed something that doesn't usually exist in the wedding-planning journey: a room with absolutely no wedding-talk fatigue in it. 50+ newly engaged women. 14 industry leaders. Zero judgement. One very simple rule, if you want to talk about your wedding all night, this is the room built for exactly that.

Aambra Rose Bay did a lot of the storytelling before a single word was spoken. Considered, warm, and unmistakably designed rather than decorated, the interiors set a tone that felt less "event venue" and more "the kind of place you'd actually want your wedding to look like." It's the work of Paul Papadopoulos, and it showed: every corner of the room felt intentional, from the lighting to the way guests naturally moved through it.

That intentionality carried through every detail of the night. Mary Ronis Events led the event styling, Azariade brought the floral design to life, and Simply Seated dressed every table in linens that matched the room's mood exactly. Behind the scenes, One Space Co kept the entire evening running without a single visible seam.

Rather than a stage and a microphone, The Wedded Salon was built as an actual conversation, 14 voices across fashion, fine jewellery, beauty, hair, planning, styling, wellness and Wedded Concierge, all there to answer the questions brides actually wanted to ask.

Steven Khalil spoke to the relationship between a bride and the gown she chooses. Michael Anictomatis brought a Chaumet perspective on jewellery as heritage rather than accessory. Domenic Pelli talked about hair styling that still feels unmistakably like you. Kathryn Eisman brought her lens on fashion and psychology into the room, unpacking how what a bride wears shapes identity well beyond the aisle. Diane Khoury and Mary Ronis unpacked what it actually takes to turn a vision into an experience guests remember. Georgie Karloci tackled the conversation most brides don't get to have, what happens financially after the ring. Tannia T brought two decades of makeup artistry into the room, and Heather Foord widened the lens entirely, speaking to the parts of womanhood and wellness that rarely make it into a wedding conversation at all. Shayben Moussa, whose lens has quietly shaped how modern couples remember their own wedding days, spoke to what actually makes a moment worth capturing.

And weaving through it all: Wendy El-Khoury, Ananya Chawla and Jana Elhassan, grounding every question back to the same idea, that planning a wedding, wherever in the world it happens, should feel like discovery, not homework.

Capturing every one of those moments were Siempre Weddings behind the camera and Chris Miles Weddings on video, the same team responsible for the fact that this night won't just live in memory.
The Wedded Salon wasn't built to be watched. It was built to be felt.

Grace Choi brought live art to the room throughout the night. DJ Jay Bee set the soundtrack, while Cardis Violin added a live violin, threading through the room as guests arrived. The Memory Line ran a video phone booth that captured messages and memories in real time, and Paper Playground's chatter boxes gave guests a reason to put their phones down and actually talk to the bride next to them.

On the production side, 365 Productions handled AV, sound and production from start to finish, 360 Production House brought the decal work and custom serving platters to life, and Edgehouse Design designed the menu, because at Wedded Wonderland, even the menu is a design decision.

And no bridal evening is complete without dessert doing some of the talking: Strawberries & Co's dessert towers were as photographed as anything else in the room.

The gifting at The Wedded Salon extended well past a traditional gift bag, it was curated specifically for an audience of newly engaged women, across beauty, wellness and self-care: JSHealth, Scent Room, Lush Australia & New Zealand, Vitaceuticals, Courtesy Care Services, Core Restore Co, Seamless1 and Recreation Beauty, brands selected to sit with brides well beyond the night itself.

And documenting it all in real time, The Modern Bride's BFF brought the content-creator lens to the room, the perspective of someone who's lived the exact chapter every guest in that room was living.
The Wedded Salon was never designed as a one-off. It was designed as a taste.
