CEO and Founder of Showpo, Jane Lu’s wedding is what boho magic looks like! Jane married her soulmate James Waldie, aka Waldie and the couple celebrated their love, laughter and happiness along with their friends and family.
Waldie decided to propose to Jane on Christmas Eve at his family holiday home in Noosa. The couple went on a small boat ride disguised as a Venetian gondola and as the couple were drinking some champagne and eating their dinner, Waldie got down on one knee and popped the question!
Following such a romantic proposal, the couple’s wedding was nothing short of magic! The couple’s “think big and have fun” approach to life was definitely evident throughout their special day.
The couple tied the knot and held their wedding festivities at Sergeants Mess in Mosman with their closest friends and family. The couple incorporated their laid back personalities into the decor and styling of the wedding. The relaxed theme with hints of modern bohemian captivated all guests’ attention as beautiful floral arrangements created a dreamy ambience.
Majority of the couple’s guests flew in from overseas and interstate to be with the couple on their special day and it was sure a memorable day for everyone! After the reception the festivities continued at the Hotel CBD for the after party and ending the night in true CEO Showpo style, everyone ended up back into the office to finish the night off!
“Being the CEO and CFO of Showpo, a lot of our lives revolve around the business so it made sense to incorporate it into our special day which made it really unique for us. We didn’t want the wedding to be too much about working together as its only a small part of our relationship, just a sprinkle of a couple of our favourite Showpo traditions for fun.”
And the CEO did not disappoint with her choice of bridal attire! Her effortless and strictly simply gown accentuated her figure. “My wedding dress was specially designed by our team of in-house designers here at Showpo (which our customers can actually pre-order now) and my bride tribe was head to toe in Showpo as well.”
