Scultura Infinita: A Three-day Destination Wedding in Tuscany, Planned & Designed by Giritaly

Scultura Infinita: A Three-day Destination Wedding in Tuscany, Planned & Designed by Giritaly

When a destination wedding unfolds like a masterpiece, you know Giritaly, an official Wedded Wonderland Partner, is behind it. The luxury wedding planners, renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled ability to turn visions into reality, orchestrated a three-day celebration that redefined the wedding experience. Scultura Infinita, held at the illustrious Villa Vignamaggio in Tuscany, was not just a wedding, it was an immersive journey through art, fashion, and history, sculpted into every moment of the event.

Destination Wedding | Tuscany | Giritaly

A Fusion of Fashion, Art, and History

The moment guests arrived at the venue, they were transported into a living gallery, a fusion of old-world Renaissance art and modern-day couture. Inspired by the timeless sculptures of Florence, the couple envisioned an experience that blurred the lines between fantasy and reality. Giritaly’s curatorial brilliance brought this vision to life with seamless precision.

From the moment the couple arrived at the Welcome Dinner at Casa Ruffino’s historic winery, the celebration embraced Tuscany’s soul, not through cliché images of “Dolce Vita,” but by honoring the essence of Amici, Amore, Famiglia: friends, love, and family. These words were embroidered delicately on napkins at each guest’s place, setting the tone for a weekend full of authentic intimacy. The dinner’s design broke away from the expected, choosing a raw, unpolished aesthetic that allowed the natural beauty of Tuscany to take center stage.

A vintage Alfa Romeo rolled up, ushering the couple in, with the bride in an Oscar de la Renta gown and Manolo Blahnik heels, effortlessly elegant yet powerfully bold. The groom, in a tailored Prada ensemble, perfectly complemented her timeless charm. As they entered the winery, live music filled the air, and unstructured floral arrangements featuring braided grass and petal-less sunflowers provided a natural elegance that felt like stepping into Tuscany itself.

Scultura Infinita: The Wedding as a Living Masterpiece

Inspired by the sculptural heritage of Florence, the couple’s wedding theme, Scultura Infinita, Sculpted Forever, was a tribute to the eternal power of form and design. Every single detail, curated by Giritaly, had a purpose, a sculptural essence, and an emotional narrative.

The wedding website alone was a work of art, a 4D animation of Michelangelo’s David, slowly emerging from the screen surrounded by florals. This sculptural homage set the tone for a wedding that would unfold as an immersive art piece. The venue, Il Borgo di Vignamaggio, an 18th-century estate nestled in the heart of Chianti, became a breathtaking backdrop where contemporary design met the grandeur of history. A striking 17-meter-long concrete table in the estate’s courtyard was the focal point of the dining experience, transforming the meal into a communal, sculptural art form.

A Ceremony That Transcended Time

The wedding ceremony was pure magic. A serene garden, framed by floating drapes and wild, untamed florals, evoked the feeling of walking into a Renaissance painting. The Danielle Frankel hand-painted gown the bride wore echoed Botticelli’s Primavera, a fitting homage to the beauty of love. The bride’s dramatic entrance, with the gown dancing in the Tuscan wind, was a breathtaking moment. The groom, transitioning from a sharp Giorgio Armani look to a striking Maison Margiela ensemble, embodied modern elegance and style.

Guests were then ushered to the Aperitivo space, La Tavola Commune, inspired by the villa’s monumental table. Here, the food became part of the art. Guests were invited to engage with their surroundings, interacting with the sculptures, tasting gourmet amuse-bouches, and wandering through a surreal landscape of Renaissance-punk characters, tarot card readings, and immersive experiences.

The Reception: A Theatrical Opera of Design

The reception was nothing short of a theatrical masterpiece. Silk curtains billowed in the breeze, leading guests through the La Piazza into an enchanting courtyard. Here, acrobats performed as human sculptures, while long tables adorned with wild orchids, hydrangeas, and rich burgundy blooms created a rich visual feast. A sculptural fountain served Pink Cosmopolitans, and the evening’s ambiance was further elevated by projected masterpieces by da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Monet. Each Ginori porcelain plate was a canvas, and every dish served was a visual and gastronomic statement.

After dinner, guests were treated to a 13-foot artisanal cassata cake, assembled live by pastry chefs before being served to guests. The night’s entertainment was a symphony of musical styles, from gospel harmonies to Arabic soul to Italian live bands, perfectly curated to reflect the wedding’s evolving narrative.

As the evening drew to a close, guests were led into an after-party titled Renaissance Rendez-vous. Inside, they discovered a surreal space, as if plucked from the pages of a Baroque dream, with velvet drapes, silver chariots, and mini burgers served in a way only a couture-inspired after-party could deliver.

Giritaly: Designing Unforgettable Moments

From the first vision to the final after-party, Giritaly elevated this destination wedding into an immersive work of art. Their ability to blend the essence of culture, fashion, and history with unparalleled luxury transformed Scultura Infinita into a celebration that transcended the ordinary. This wedding wasn’t just an event, it was an experience that will be remembered as a sculptural love story carved into time.

With Giritaly’s exceptional vision, this wedding not only honored tradition but also created a new standard for luxury, design, and storytelling in the world of destination weddings. Scultura Infinita was a living, breathing testament to what happens when art, love, and fashion collide in the most spectacular way.
