I’M HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING – WHAT DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR?

Destination Weddings have never been more popular – and for good reason! Not only can it turn into a big holiday for all of your guests, but you’ll have some incredible scenery and exotic foods that wouldn’t be available to you at home.

However, destination Weddings also mean there are extra expenses for both the Bride and Groom, as well as their guests; so who pays for what?

We’ve got the answers.

The Bride and Groom Should Cover:

The welcome party
The rehearsal dinner
The Wedding Ceremony and Reception
The post-Wedding brunch
Hair and Makeup for the Bridesmaids

Traditionally, it’s Recommended They Cover:

Group activities like tours or ‘meet and greets’
Transport from the guests’ hotel room to the Wedding Ceremony and Reception
Accommodation for the Bridal Party

The Guests are Left to Cover:

Plane tickets
Accommodation
Food that isn’t part of the Wedding celebrations
