Inspired by a bohemian love story, Galia Lahav launched her Les Reves Bohemiens collection at New York Bridal Market over the weekend. A new take on the fairy-tale, this collection has a darker side, combining sleek silhouettes with lace, corsetry and slashed necklines that are cut almost to the waistline.
The attention to detail in the intricate beading and lacework makes each gown a piece of art and with the models’ crimped hair and stained lips, the entire runway was like a wedding scene from Baz Luhrman’s classic film, Moulin Rouge.
