Gabriella and Jordan’s modern love story began 3 and a half years ago, after Jordan saw a picture of Gabriella on Instagram and made it his mission to find her profile and connect with her; finally discovering it after a month of searching! After some online chatter Gabriella eventually gave Jordan her number as he was determined to meet his dream girl … Three months after meeting they moved in together and not long after he proposed on a balmy, spring night at their special spot in Bicentennial Park.
Jordan married his dream girl in an intimate and timeless white wedding, surrounded by their loved ones. The couple’s wedding theme was white with hints of gold and marble accents throughout. Their wedding ceremony was held in St Francis of Assisi church, a beautiful church with a stunning marble altar, beautifully decorated with soft white tulle and white flowers. The reception ballroom, with its hanging gold chandeliers and marble and gold trimmings that perfectly complemented the theme, was adorned with white florals and white candelabras with long dinner candles softly lit inside, romantically lighting up the room.
The couple embraced a variety of cultures during their special day, with Gabriella’s Italian and Indian background and Jordan’s Maltese and English background. The culture mix was embodied throughout the styling, theme, food, and entertainment – which included gorgeous Bollywood dancers performing exotic dance routines in bright, traditional outfits.
One of the most special moments of the night was directly after the couple’s first dance, where they surprised Gabriella’s parents with their very own first dance song as Gabriella and Jordan decided to marry on her parents wedding anniversary. Jordan then presented Gabriella’s parents with 33 long stem red roses to represent the years they had been together. So sweet and thoughtful!
Reflecting on the most special day of her life, Gabriella told Wedded Wonderland, “To me our wedding was magical. It was more amazing then we had envisioned it. There are no words to describe seeing something you have worked on for a year finally become a perfect reality. We truly believe we are soul mates. The moment we became husband and wife was without a doubt the best moment of our lives. The whole day was radiating with love and this positive energy, it was amazing.”
We asked the couple if they would change one thing about their special day and their response was, “it would only be to slow the time down and really savour ever second of the best day of our lives.”
