Poolside service and convenient buggies whisked me around the sprawling premises, revealing one of the most breathtaking beaches I’ve ever laid eyes on. The design and architecture of the resort effortlessly integrated with the natural elements of Fiji, fostering a sense of calm and tranquility that permeated every aspect of my stay.

As someone passionate about weddings, boutique and large scale, cultural and cross-cultural, I appreciated the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Fijian traditions and customs, and how they can be incorporated into proposals, weddings and honeymoon experiences.

In my conversation with Lachlan Walker, an experienced hospitality leader from IHG Hotels & Resorts, we delved into the captivating wedding experiences offered at InterContinental Fiji. Of course, no trip to Fiji would be complete without exploring beyond the resort. I ventured into neighboring towns and villages, immersing myself in local markets, cuisine, and entertainment.
