ELISE AND GREG’S BEACHY BOHEMIAN WEDDING

It was love at first sight for Elise, while Greg says that it was Elise’s open heart that captured him!

The romantic proposal came one morning when Greg was adamant that they go on the Bondi to Bronte coastal walks, even though it was pouring rain.  Elise though it was unusual but she went along with it. “When we arrived at the ledge at the end of Bronte Pool the rain stopped and the water was beautifully glassy.  It was then that Greg absolutely shocked me by proposing – to the point where I left Greg on his knee waiting for an answer! What followed was a magical day!” Elise told Wedded Wonderland.

Fast-forward to their stunning, laid-back wedding held at Watsons Bay with its’ stunning harbour views, and Camp Cove Beach with its’ natural beauty, providing the perfect backdrop to set the tone and excite many of the guests travelling from overseas.

Having worked in events previously, Elise wanted to do as much as possible on her own. As a result, the wedding was full of personal touches. “My mum and Aunty did the flowers- mostly made up of garden roses to allude to my English heritage, the favours were Laduree Macarons; a nod to our little girl, Elle who was conceived in Paris, the name places were gold painted oyster shells from my parents home in Queensland and the candles were Gardenia scented: my favourite flower.”

Reflecting on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland one of the most heart-warming moments was watching their bridesmaid walking their daughter down the aisle, dressed in her adorable Tutu Du Monde dress, which also imitated her mum’s bridal tulle gown. So sweet!

Be inspired, Fairies!
