Wedding planner and designer Zainab Alsalih of Carousel Weddings orchestrated one of Dubai’s most memorable destination weddings. Leicester City’s star striker, Patson Daka, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Zambian athlete Suwilanji Mpondela, in a luxurious ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental in Jumeirah, Dubai.
The couple spared no expense, ensuring their guests had an unforgettable experience with a three-day celebration filled with activities and excitement. The festivities began with a pre-wedding party at a lavish venue, where guests were treated to a delicious array of food and drinks, along with lively entertainment to get them in the mood for the big day.
The wedding ceremony was a stunning affair, with the couple exchanging vows in front of a breathtaking backdrop of Dubai’s glittering skyline. Patson, dressed in a sharp suit, beamed with pride as he watched his bride walk down the aisle in a stunning white gown, her hair styled in loose curls.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests boarded a yacht for an after-party like no other. The yacht sailed through the Gulf as guests enjoyed cocktails, music and dancing under the stars. The celebrations continued well into the night, with fireworks lighting the sky.
Guests at the wedding were particularly impressed with the thoughtful and detailed preparations made by Patson and Suwilanji with Carousel Weddings. In the months leading up to the wedding, they had set up a website for guests to access all the information they needed, from travel arrangements to dress codes and other important details.
