Kayhan’s proposal to Milijana was something special and sentimental which totally took her breath away. Kayhan carefully thought about Milijana’s childhood upbringing and decided to pop the question at her childhood home, something Milijana will never forget.
Being the baby of her family, Milijana’s family couldn’t believe that her wedding had arrived and the morning preparations were something so special and sentimental for the bride. Milijana described the surreal moment when she was leaving her house for the last time with her maiden name, as she sat in the car alongside her parents.
“I remember my dad giving me the strongest, most warming hug and kisses before hanging me over, it just fulfils my heart”, a special moment Milijana shared with her father.
The couple’s wedding was a true celebration of culture, family and love. The bride and the groom combined their Persian and Serbian cultures together featuring two ceremonies which was a unique aspect of their special day.
In between the two wedding ceremonies, the couple along with their bridal party decided to eat at Betty’s Burgers, which was one of the best decisions they made on the day! “I remember all these random people looking over at us like we were celebrities and we were just enjoying the moment, eating our delicious burgers. It was nice to have valuable time without any rush with our best friends,” explains Milijana.
The couple went for a luxe and floral wonderland look for their wedding. White décor with touches of gold details, classic white floral arrangements and blossom trees created a fairytale illusion to the wedding. The couple featured both Persian and Serbian music and all 300 wedding guests were on the dance floor.
