Michael and Alli first met through mutual friends, although it was Michael’s DJ skills which impressed Alli enough to record and send him a video of his performance! This kicked things off, and a few years later the couple is officially #WEDDED!
After 4 years of dating, Michael proposed at the spot where Alli took him on their first date – a dog park in Mosman. Witnessing the event was Alli’s beloved pug, Obie, who was the guest of honour on their special day (scroll for the adorable photos)!
The beautiful couple exchanged their vows at St Mary’s Catholic Church in North Sydney. The day was a rainy one but this did not deter the smiles and laughter from the couple, as they explored locations around Kirribilli and the Queen Victoria Building.
Following their photo shoot, a wedding reception at the iconic QVB Tea Room was the perfect end to the perfect day, where the newlyweds and their guests partied the night away.
Fairies, we are simply obsessed with Alli’s incredible bridal look! Giving us major New York City chic vibes, the unique gown is a custom design by Kristie Slater. The bride finished the look with a slick-back low bun, natural makeup and chunky statement earrings from Isabella May. And of course, the shoes were Dior! We don’t know about you, Fairies, but this look is one of the most beautiful contemporary ensembles we have ever come across!
“The skirt was originally a Christian Dior skirt from Dior’s Winter 2017/2018 Collection, which I fell in love with and bought. I originally wanted to just get a bodysuit made, but when I took it to a my dress designer, we started to play around with the fabric and decided to take the pants out of the skirt, turning it into a dress!”
