Kim Kardashian’s Hairstylist Reveals The One Hack For Frizzy Hair

Bad hair days – they’re a tough one, especially when it comes to naturally frizzy hair.

For those with dreams of super sleek locks but a reality of frizz and static, Jen Atkin says it’s all about how you dry your hair.

You know it’s legit because, Kardashian hair.

“One of the biggest secrets to fighting frizz is using a microfiber towel or cotton t-shirt to squeeze any moisture out,” Atkin, who is the founder of OUAI Haircare, told INSIDER. “Terry cloth towels strip hair of too much moisture and cause frizz.”

When it comes down to the humidity in warmer months, Atkin recommends protecting against heat and sun damage.

“I always suggest using a UV protectant on the hair to protect colour from fading or environmental damage,” Atkin told INSIDER “Moisturize and beware of sun damage — yes it can tarnish your strands and lead to frizz or colour fadage!”

Fear not, because for every Atkin tip, there’s a QUAI hair product.

She suggests the OUAI Hair Oil to create a UV barrier, as well as applying a hair treatment masque before spending long amounts of time in the sun.

Atkin also recently released travel-friendly Anti-Frizz Sheets that can be swiped through hair to help eliminate frizz and static — yep it’s a thing, and we want to travel just so we can use one.

Atkin is all about sharing her tips, tricks, and favourite products, but she’s also blessed us with all the hair wisdom we can ask for – to love the hair you’ve been given.

“ALWAYS embrace and enjoy your natural texture, instead of fighting it,” she said.
