Christopher proposed to Vanessa during a picnic date on the beach.
“I was truly caught off guard, the moment was so surreal. I remember feeling as though I was floating and watching the moment unfold.”
The couple wanted a classic black and white themed wedding,
“We chose a classic theme of black and white, two of our favorite colors. The groom and groomsmen wore black tailored suits, and bride and bridesmaids wore shades of white. Our flowers, the cake and the grand piano were white, leaving the rest of the decor in the grand ball room black. This also brought attention to the city backdrop which was a major reason in choosing the Hyatt Regency.”
The bride wore a stunning Steven Khalil dress and veil.
The wedding was perfectly captured by Simon Gorges and cinematographer Justin Scoulou from Iconic Films.
Vanessa says, “They made us laugh the entire day especially during the location shoot making the shoot so fun and easy for the bridal party. Simon did and said anything and everything you could imagine to capture those special moments – we found Simon hiding behind trees, laying on the ground and whispering the funniest things to Chris and I which had us laughing all day.”
Congratulations Christopher and Vanessa!
