Luisa and Nicholas met in Florence while both participating in a university exchange program, although they both studied at the University in Melbourne, they had never crossed paths until arriving at the campus in Florence!
Nicholas planned out the most special proposal for their 5 year anniversary, commencing with a lovely dinner before they ended up in a stunning suite at Hotel Windsor where Nick proposed in the very same hotel his Father proposed to his Mother with the diamond that Luisa’s Father used to propose to her Mother, reset into a beautiful new ring. How very sweet! Nicholas described his proposal as his attempt to capture an element of both their families’ history in moving towards our future.
Fast-forward to their stunning Melbourne Wedding which they described as a day more incredible than they could ever have imagined. “We will never forget the feeling of exchanging our vows in front of the people who are most important in our lives. Our reception felt like an underground party in the stunning Regent Theatre’s Plaza Ballroom. The champagne was flowing and dance floor was pumping… we want to do it all again!” the couple happily told Wedded Wonderland.
