The best way to make wedding planning easier is to follow a simple schedule of what needs to be done, when. We know what you’re thinking: easier said than done for those in the know, but what about a newly engaged bride that has no idea where to start?!
Our friends at WeddingWire have shared the easiest template with Wedded Wonderland to help you check off your out of control vendor booking list. When do I chat with the baker? How soon do I have to start thinking about my wedding dress? Did anyone organise a DJ?! Find out all this and more with this simple template.

And while you’re locking in dates with your vendors, be sure to cover this essential checklist, too:
- Get a diary
Even if you have an amazing memory, we always recommend this never-fail recorder to keep you on-track and ahead of the game. - Agree on a budget
You’ll need to have this number finalised before you visit your vendors to ensure the best way to allocate money, and be prepared for any changes/exceptions that may arise during the planning process. - Lock in a date
A great place to start is by thinking about what month or season you’d like your wedding day to be in, and then check with the major suppliers you’re hoping to bring on board to ensure they have the date free (suppliers such as: venue, church, photographer and hair/beauty team).
