7 Simple Ideas for a Picnic Wedding

If you’re in search of a perfect Autumn theme (and a laid-back affair), consider making a picnic wedding the theme of your celebration.

It’s fabulous to think you can celebrate your big day at the park, beach, your backyard, even your favourite spot in the city.

Look at these seven creative ideas below and get inspired!

1. Comfort Zone

A picnic is perfect for a casual affair, but you should always consider the realm of comfort for you and your guests. Get creative and provide floor cushions and blankets for a relaxed feel, and consider hiring a few chairs for the event for older guest.

2. Drink Station

We will always love these glass drink dispensers. Not only do they look amazing, they’re super convenient, too. Having three to five different flavours to choose from for a fun fruity favour for guests.

3. World of Fun

The beauty of celebrating your special day at the park or beach is all the additional space you’ll have to play with. Keep guests entertained with a game of classic croquet, lawn bowls.

fun lawn games! Do we have enough lawn? We certainly do outside our #marquee! This is such a good idea to keep not only the children entertained but also the big kids too #oxwichbayhotel:

4. Hampers for Everyone!

Keep it fuss free when it comes to serving guests food with hampers. Ensure there’s something for everyone in the hamper, and when they’re done, simply clear for an instant clutter-free look.

6. The Food(ie)

Food is always a must for every affair. But, you don’t need to think so much. Consider using mason jars for appetisers and salads, and some cute noodle boxes for your mains.

Perfect for grab and go lunch. Good for 3ish days. Make sure the liquid is on the bottom and the lettuce on top. This is genius!:

7. Wedding Favours

A special day will always come to an end, so be sure to include a perfect gift for your guests for their trip back home. We love this sweet and simple idea of fruit bags.

Give your guests fresh, handpicked cherries in brown bags made from recycled paper as a country wedding favor.:
