Yummy Mummies viewers disgusted by Maria’s latest actions

Yummy Mummies star Maria DiGeronimo has sparked intense backlash after piercing her three-month-old daughter’s ears during Tuesday night’s episode.

Viewers immediately called her out on social media, voicing their concern that Valentina was too young to have the procedure.

‘’I’m sorry but piercing your babies (sic) ears at 3 months old (sic) is just cruel. I think that baby would be better raised without Maria,” one fan tweeted.

‘’So wrong piercing her ears! There’s no need!!! Poor little darling,” commented another. One viewer questioned the legality and ethics behind the cosmetic procedure, stating ‘’Rich people are so weird’’.

Maria claimed during the episode that baby Valentina was too young to ‘’remember the pain anyway’’ and brushed off the warning she could contract an infection.

The body piercer also alerted the mother prior to the procedure that while there weren’t many additional risks that he was aware of, most people waited until their child was around four or five to get their ears pierced.

Despite the caution, Maria was adamant, proclaiming later ‘’that little girl of mine is gonna (sic) sparkle and shine’’. Viewers watched as the baby screamed in pain as her ears were pierced, with a visibly upset Maria covering her ears.

DiGeronimo is already one of the most controversial stars on the Channel Seven, after earlier commenting that breastfeeding in public should be illegal and rumours surrounding how her ‘part time’ barber husband makes enough money to support the pair’s lavish lifestyle.
