Here at wedded we love a cute and quirky pregnancy announcement and this one is the just the sweetest. After learning she was pregnant Chelsie Morales decided to keep her news a secret so she could surprise her husband in the most heart-warming announcement.
“I love surprising people. It’s kind of my thing. I’ve tried capturing it myself in the past and it hasn’t worked out great”, explains Chelsie to ABC News. But this time she wanted to capture the moment perfectly and turned to photographer Kara Fishbaugh to concoct a plan.
Chelsie told her husband that she had won a couples photoshoot through a competition on Instagram and convinced him, despite his hesitancy to go ahead with the shoot. When they arrived at the photoshoot Kara asked them both to write three qualities they admire about each other on little chalk boards.
Kara struggled to hold the farce together “I was a nervous mess”, but dad-to-be Will had no idea what was going on and thought the idea was awesome. Whilst Will was trying to pick the best three qualities, Chelsie had written the sweetest message. Kara got them both to stand back to back and then turn to show each other what they had written.
Will didn’t expect what his wife had written and was utterly shocked when he saw ‘You’re going to be a daddy’. Luckily Kara was there and caught his reaction perfectly.
“She definitely surprised me and we couldn’t be more happy for this little baby,” said the ecstatic dad-to-be.
