With another royal wedding on the horizon, we are already trying to envision the beautiful Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding gown. Months of speculation await about which designer the bride will choose to create her most important gown to date.
With the past royal weddings, the brides have tended to surprise everyone with their choice of wedding gown leaving everyone’s jaws dropped to the floor.
Although it is not impossible that Beatrice could turn to a designer who has already been chosen to create a gown for a royal wedding, it is extremely unlikely as the Princess will want to find her own unique path.
It has not been announced yet where the wedding will take place, which of course will affect if the Princess will decide to go for a modest and traditional design. It is possible that her nuptials will occur at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same location where Princess Eugenie, Prince Harry and Lady Gabriella Windsor all got married.
If that is the case, the Princess’ dress will need to match the grandeur of those famous steps to get the perfect train shot that will remain iconic and timeless. The dress will most likely be long sleeved, not a very adventurous design and she will most likely wear a gorgeous tiara to top the whole look off.
A few of the Princess’ favourite designers include MSGM, Alberta Ferretti, Self-Portrait, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou and Roksanda as she has worn these labels at various red carpet events and to several occasion over the years. It is quite likely that Beatrice will choose either a British designer or British brand for her big day which means that Mary Katrantzou and Roksanda could be brands to look out for.
Beatrice over the years is known for her bold choices when it comes to fashion as she is never afraid to wear a head-turning colour, print or statement accessory, so there could be a slight chance that she might take a risk in some element or detail on her special day, even if it’s just in a subtle way.
No matter what the Princess’ dream wedding dress will be, we are sure it’ll be a beautiful gown. But hey, it’s nice to daydream!
We cannot wait to see it!
