The Kardashians season 8 arrives on Disney+ in Australia on Thursday 8 October, and this time the family is leaning all the way into romance. Hulu's official logline calls it a season "all about love, reinvention, and what comes next", from "unexpected sparks and new relationships, to healing old wounds and embracing independence", as reported by BroadwayWorld.
For a family whose weddings, from Florence to Portofino, have shaped a decade of celebrity wedding trends, a love-themed season is a big deal. We have covered every Kardashian-Jenner wedding at Wedded Wonderland, so here is where each of them stands going in, and what the trailer gives away.
The premiere lands on Thursday 8 October on Disney+ in Australia, as confirmed by TV Central. In the US it streams on Hulu and on Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. New episodes are released weekly on Thursdays.
Hulu has not announced how many episodes are in the season.
The trailer, released on 17 September, packs in plenty. According to ABC7 and Deadline:
Kim's health scare: Kim appears in a hospital bed and says: "I have something called esophagitis."
Kris on the sisters: Asked how her daughters are getting along, Kris answers: "Well… it's been a week."
Khloé is single: "I'm single, I might be ready to mingle," she says.
Kendall shuts down a rumour: "There's definitely a rumour that Cara and I dated, which is not true."
Kourtney's priorities: "My biggest priority right now is my kids, and I'm very happy with my life."
Yes. Kim and the Formula 1 champion were first linked in February 2026, and she was trackside at the Monaco Grand Prix in June, as reported by Hello!. The pair shared their first documented public kiss at the opening of the Lucas Museum in Los Angeles in September.
Kim recently said she was "really single for five years" before Lewis, according to E! News. In the trailer, when asked whether she could date privately, she laughs: "Let me just say this, I can't control myself." Lewis himself does not appear in the trailer, so whether he features on the show remains to be seen.
Kim was last married to Kanye West. Their May 2014 wedding at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, with a Givenchy gown by Riccardo Tisci and Andrea Bocelli singing, is still one of the most referenced celebrity weddings of all time, as covered by Hello!. Florence remains a favourite with couples, and our guide to celebrity destination weddings in Italy shows why.
Nobody, by her own account. "I'm single, I might be ready to mingle," she says in the trailer, and a teaser posted by the show on 3 October leans right into it.
Khloé married NBA player Lamar Odom in September 2009, just a month after they met, and their divorce was finalised in December 2016. She later shared daughter True and son Tatum with Tristan Thompson. She famously revealed she was banned from giving a speech at Kim's wedding, so we are hoping her dating storyline delivers the same honesty.
Yes, and happily. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are the family's only married couple right now. They actually wed three times in 2022: an unofficial Las Vegas ceremony after the Grammys in April, a legal courthouse wedding in Santa Barbara in May, and the main event in Portofino, Italy, at Dolce & Gabbana's Villa Olivetta, where Kourtney wore a custom corseted D&G minidress and a veil embroidered with the Virgin Mary, as reported by Grazia.
We covered every moment, from the Portofino ceremony to what the whole family wore. They welcomed son Rocky in November 2023.
Kendall has been linked to Australian actor Jacob Elordi since April 2026, which gives Aussie fans a very local reason to watch. The pair have been seen together in Hawaii, Australia and with the family in Idaho, and were photographed holding hands in London in August, according to TMZ. Neither has officially confirmed the relationship, and the trailer does not mention him.
If Kendall's bridal-worthy red carpet looks are anything to go by, a wedding of her own would be a fashion moment.
Kylie and Timothée have been together since 2023, but trailer coverage suggests he is not mentioned, and Kylie keeps that relationship largely off camera. That has not stopped speculation. A viral photo this week sparked pregnancy rumours that nobody has verified. Read our fact-check: is Kylie Jenner pregnant, or is that viral photo fake?
Don't hold your breath. Kris and Corey have been together since around 2014, and a source told People in September that they have "never" discussed marriage and are "happy where they are right now", as reported by Entertainment Now. Kris was previously married to Robert Kardashian and then to Caitlyn Jenner, whom she wed in April 1991.
Love them or not, the Kardashian family has shaped how a generation plans weddings. Three lessons stand out:
Multiple ceremonies are normal now: Kourtney's Vegas, courthouse and Portofino trio made it acceptable to split the legal part from the celebration.
Location is the décor: Florence and Portofino did most of the visual work. Choose a setting with character and you can spend less on styling. Our guide to destination wedding venues is a good place to start.
Fashion houses are part of the story: Givenchy dressed Kim in Florence and Dolce & Gabbana dressed Kourtney in Portofino. For your own day, a designer who understands the setting matters more than the label.
