WEDDED WONDERLAND HOSTS MONTH OF LOVE “RUNAWAY BRIDE”

Wedded Wonderland is proud to announce “Runaway Bride” raised over $10,000 for Ovarian Cancer Australia.

On Saturday the 7th February more than 50 brides stepped into either makeshift crazy wedding dresses, their actual wedding gowns or into gowns donated by the amazing Sydney bridal boutique Jean Fox Bridal and took part in a 100 m sprint on the Harbourside, for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Bride racers gathered at the start at the Harbourside Ampitheatre, with the beautiful backdrop of Pyrmont Bridge, to make the 100m sprint to Dockside Pavilion.

The “Runaway Bride” race was a fabulous way to launch the Month of Love, being the first of many loved up activities within the Month of Love schedule.

Here at Wedded Wonderland we couldn’t think of a more fun way to raise funds and awareness for Ovarian Cancer Month than to gather ladies to run for love in their wedding gowns, and we are immensely delighted with the outcome.

We couldn’t have achieved such a wonderful outcome without our amazing sponsors, including: Dockside GroupOvarian Cancer Australia, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Harbourside Decorators, Sparkle Cupcakes, Visible Ink MediaJay Productions, Party Splendour.

Check out our photos of the Runaway Bride race to see all the fabulous fun that took place.
