Wedded Wonderland presented at Sheraton Grand Sydney our future in Weddings and events. We were joined by incredible pioneers, designers and leading business owners including Jules Robinson Founder of Figur Shapewear, Viktoria Novak Milliner to the stars, Steven Khalil Couture Designer, Sebastian Lee CEO of Eternal Bridal, and Melissa Sassine Makeup Artist and Academy Director, plus so many more leaders and up and comers.
This was our first face to face business session in over 2 years (you know what’s happened in-between!). The future of this industry both in Australia and globally is in our hands, and we want to bring the best to the market for consumers and businesses alike!
Our Founder Wendy El-Khoury stated “The 2022/23 Bridal couple is increasingly conscious about where their money is being allocated within their Wedding budget. Ultimately, they want to feel confident and connected with the brands they’re representing through their purchases.” With the online market ever-going, she went on to say, “We have to mirror our consumer, work out who they are and what they want. Most of our consumers will only purchase from us once, meaning it is so important that we nurture our existing clients and ensure our interactions are optimised across all our online platforms”.
Business owners are keen to learn more about their consumers online and nurturing their digital presence. Sydney based Nail Artist and owner of CJ Artistry Girls, Jade Pham, noted a stand-out shift in the modern bridal couple, “spending patterns have changed since covid hit”. Transparency and accessibility for our Australian brides in an online space are key, founder of Figur Shapewear, Jules Robinson, remarked the importance of being able to verify businesses selling their products and services in an online market.
