Anna and Sergey’s journey to their Wedding Day began on one of Moscow’s highest rooftops with the dreamiest of settings and the most spectacular of views, looking like a scene straight from a movie.
Recalling the surprise proposal, Anna told Wedded Wonderland “Sergey told me that we were going to a birthday party of our friend. And when I arrived to the appointed place, a girl in a mask was waiting for me with a note from my future husband stating “Darling, this will be the best day of your life. Trust me and put the mask on.” The lady put the silk lace mask on my eyes and took me to the roof, where three dresses, make-up artist and my shoes, were waiting for me. Of course I realized that it was a surprise. When I was led to my beloved and he took off my mask, I couldn’t hold back my tears… Standing on one knee, he handed me a bouquet of flowers. On one side I saw the glowing words “Will you marry me?”… lit candles and rose petals all around. On the other side – celebration table, and behind it there was an extraordinary number of flowers on the mirror surface. We cannot get enough of this proposal!
Groom Sergey really set the bar high, and we can’t imagine how the couple would be able to top this grand event, but they certainly did not fail to impress, pulling it together along with their Wedding planner from TOBELOVE Wedding in just two months!
The couple held their Wedding on a beautiful pier, surrounded by water and lush forest, setting the backdrop for what was to be an incredibly original and unique Wedding.
Their unique and original Wedding was centered around a “Birds” theme, appealing to the idea of freedom, tenderness and deep feelings. Every detail at the wedding was somehow connected to this theme from clay egg invitations that each guest had to break, doves at the ceremony, a flying Zuhair Murad gown where light silk sleeves-wings where sewn on and dancers in fantastic costumes made of feathers and their first dance wearing fashion feather masks, specially made for the couple.
