Rayyan and Ezzedine grew up together, sharing many fond memories throughout their childhood and little did they know they were destined to be together.
“I’ve always been a hopeless romantic and would have never thought that my prince charming would be right in front of me the whole time, as we grew older we grew fonder of each other and Ezzeddine captivated me; my fairy-tale had begun without me realising,” Rayyan said.
Ezzeddine proposed to Rayyan during a family trip to Las Vegas. “Ezzeddine convinced me he could not join us due to important work commitments. The first night in Vegas my parents took my brothers and I to “Picasso”, a restaurant in the Bellagio overlooking the romantic Fountains of Bellagio. On arrival, we were seated at our private patio. Soon after, our waiter placed a tower of macaroons in front of me (my favourite dessert). As I picked a macaroon, a section of the macaroons opened up revealing a note on the inside with “PLEASE TURN AROUND.”
“With my heart beating faster than ever, I turned around to find the love of my life walking towards me and getting on one knee. He opened a box with my dream ring and proposed. In that moment the fountain went off and everything else was just background noise.” Such a beautiful, romantic proposal!
On arrival back in Sydney, the couple went full steam ahead with their wedding planning. Their wedding day was shared with their closest family and friends, filled with plenty of laughter and dancing.
One of the most memorable moments of their special day was the moment Ezzeddine walked into Rayyan’s home with his family by his side and the drums beating in perfect harmony.
Rayyan told Wedded Wonderland, “I’ve always dreamed about the moment the bride and groom lock eyes and my husband sees me in my dress for the first time. This is a feeling that is incomparable to anything else. It’s like the world just stops and all that is present is you and the love of your life.”
