Ludwig Wedding Photos and QTCinderella’s Seven-Tier Cake

Ludwig Wedding Photos and QTCinderella’s Seven-Tier Cake

Ludwig and QTCinderella married on Sunday 18 October 2026, BuzzFeed reports, at a venue neither of them has named. The first Ludwig wedding photos went up on his X account two days later, and the QTCinderella wedding had a seven-tier cake she made herself and LilyPichu at the piano.

Ludwig and QTCinderella married on 18 October

Ludwig posted the first photos at 4pm US Central time on Tuesday 20 October, 8am Wednesday in Sydney. QT planned most of the wedding herself and then made the cake, NerdBaller reports.

They confirmed their relationship in May 2020, and Ludwig has said he met QT "through a Twitch stream, like seven years ago".

The pizza-box proposal in July

Ludwig proposed on 5 July 2026 with a pizza box that read "Will you marry me?". They announced the engagement on 10 July, and QT captioned the professional photos "I like shiny things but I’d marry you with paper rings".

Inside the Ludwig wedding photos

Ludwig’s post, captioned "Mr. Cinderella", holds four photos. In one, pictured at the top of this story, he dips QT for a kiss at a flower-covered altar with a vineyard behind them, the nearest thing to a location they have shared. Six minutes later he added a groomsmen shot titled "Wedding Pyramid".

About half an hour after Ludwig’s post, QT shared a video captioned "Got married. HBU?". Ludwig said he cried from "literally frame one of her exiting the building".

The couple posted on their own schedule, two days after the ceremony. To set yours, agree a release date with your photographer before the day, and add a line to the order of service on when guests may share their own pictures.

LilyPichu on piano at the QTCinderella wedding

LilyPichu played the piano, and Ludwig said on stream, in a clip shared on X, "She did a phenomenal job." A streamer and musician, she won Best Music Streamer at the first Streamer Awards, the ceremony QT created, according to Wikipedia.

If a friend or a hired pianist will play, ask the venue on your first tour whether it has its own piano and will tune it on the day. If not, ask whether a hired one can be delivered and set in shade, with power for a digital one. Agree where it stands, too, so the pianist can see the aisle and time the music to your entrance.

The QTCinderella wedding cake, all seven tiers

Ludwig called it a "seven tier cake, absolute behemoth" and said QT worked on it all week. It went to the venue in two pieces, and QT said she "assembled it in my wedding dress". She knew the work, having designed wedding cakes before she began streaming.

How to plan a personal wedding cake like QT’s

If your cake comes from family or a maker your venue doesn't already use, settle six things before you sign:

  1. Check the venue’s cake policy

Find out whether an outside cake is allowed and whether its pastry team must cut it. Ask about any plating fee and the insurance the maker needs. Few venues publish this, so ask for the policy in writing.
  2. Book cool space and a level table

Ask for a fridge or cool room from a set time on the day, and a flat, steady table out of direct sun. In warm weather, ask the maker how long the finish holds out of the fridge.
  3. Plan how it travels

A tall cake can travel in sections and be stacked where it will stand, as QT’s went in two pieces.
  4. Name the person who finishes it

Give the stacking and the final check to a friend you trust or to the maker, so the hour before the ceremony stays yours.
  5. Size it to your guest list

Ask the maker how many serves each tier gives, and work back from your numbers.
  6. Keep a plan B

A smaller display cake, with a cutting cake waiting in the kitchen, covers you if heat or a rough road damages a tier.

Why the Ludwig wedding lost photo time

Four streamer friends arrived late after one of them picked the "North" version of the street when booking their Uber, about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. One of them put the delay at about 15 minutes. QT said on the Wine About It podcast, as BuzzFeed reports, that it "set the entire wedding back to the point that we didn’t get as many photos as we wanted", and later wrote on X, "Ultimately it was my choice to stall the wedding."

Portraits are the first part of a timeline to shrink when a ceremony starts late.

How to protect your wedding photo time

Settle four things with your planner before the day:

  1. Decide how long you will wait

Agree a hold time with your planner and celebrant in advance, so the call on the day is already made.
  2. Send directions that cannot be misread

One wrong street caused this delay. Give the full address and a map pin, and ask guests to paste the pin into their rideshare app rather than typing the street.
  3. Arrange the ride

For a venue out of town, book a shuttle or drivers, with one guest holding the pick-up list and a car on standby for family.
  4. Build a buffer before the light

Ask your photographer when the best light falls at your venue on your date, and plan portraits with slack before it. A first look moves portraits earlier still, if you can give up the aisle reveal.
