This Ultra-Chic Wedding Featured A Balloon Photoshoot

Tommy proposed to Justine… on the day he bought the engagement ring!

After browsing engagement rings for some time, he had finally found the one. On that very day, he tracked down Justine’s father to ask for his permission. Her father was going away the following day, and wanted to be there when his daughter became engaged. Tommy schemed with him to get Justine out of the house and head to their favourite restaurant.

How It Went Down…

“I was onto him from the moment he walked through the door, he isn’t able to keep a secret for the life of him so I pestered him the whole drive. Eventually he spluttered “Will you marry me?”! My heart jumped into my chest even though I had a feeling he was about to do it. I said yes!!! It was so perfect I wouldn’t change a thing!!!”

The Wedding

“The whole day was amazing! We wouldn’t change a thing. He was trying to hold back his tears the whole time I was walking down the aisle, so he had a really serious look on his face. We were both so worried that he would mess up the vows and it ended up being me who said “wing” instead of “ring”. All of our speeches were amazing especially the best man and father of the groom. Two different tones but both definitely memorable. We also had a completely choreographed wedding dance which was amazing and such a surprise for our guests.”

The Most Unique Aspect

“For our engagement party I woke up first thing and decided that I needed balloons! And we were to take a kissing photo, with him lifting me and the balloons above us. We loved it so much we replicated it for our wedding and plan on making it our family tradition when we have babies and all other important events. Balloons just bring so much joy to everyone!”

Advice From The Bride

We wouldn’t change anything about the day, but if I could go back I would love to tell myself to not stress so much in the lead-up, and trust that it would all be amazing!”
