This Love Story took flight!

Sonia and Stefce’s love story began as colleagues within the aviation industry. However, once Sonia left to work for another airline, Stefce mustered the courage to ask her out on a date, and the rest is history!

Whilst on a picnic within Wendy’s Secret Garden in Lavender Bay, Stefce dropped to one knee – taking Sonia completely by surprise and asking her to marry him.

Despite Covid-19 looming overhead, an incredible cultural celebration of Macedonian and Middle Eastern heritages took place, with the Couple incorporating both of their backgrounds into their special day.

“The best moment of the day was absolutely seeing my Husband-to-be at the end of the aisle at the Church waiting for me. I was reminded that all the stress and challenges of the last several months had been worth it for this – the opportunity to become Husband and Wife”, said Bride Sonia.

Sonia and Stefce’s 86 guests were delighted by the couple’s bonbonniere which doubled as place cards: personalised leather luggage tags, in a nod to the beginning of their love story. Something Bride Sonia now refers to as ironic, due to Covid’s limitations on the travel industry, but an encouraging reminder that we have so much to look forward to in the future!

We think this couple’s Wedding is a beautiful reminder to remain focused on what Weddings are actually about! The love and union of Husband and Wife for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health – to love and cherish.
