THIS IS HOW MUCH IT COSTS YOU TO BE A BRIDESMAID

Being asked to be a Bridesmaid is a huge honour and the opportunity to stand by one of your closest friends is priceless – or is it?

A study by Weddington Way found that being a Bridesmaid is pretty pricey, with the average cost between $1,500 and $2,000 (AU)!

Some of the expenses include travel, accommodation, Bachelorette party, Bridal Shower, hair and makeup and (of course) the Bridesmaid dress. With the average girl being a Bridesmaid three times throughout her life, this means she could spend $5,600 (AU) on Bridesmaid duties.

Start saving your pennies, ladies!
