Living in Dubai, but coming from complete opposite sides of the world, Julia from New Zealand and Philippe from Lebanon, this couple chose to host their Wedding in Paris, as they knew their nearest and dearest would love to visit and what better excuse than to attend a loved ones Wedding in the city of love and lights!
“In Spring the flowers start to bloom, the weather is crisp and fresh and it’s simply the best time of year to be in Paris,” Bride Julia told Wedded Wonderland.
The couple’s Special Day got off to a rocky start when a sudden thunder and hail storm struck as the Bride and guests were on the way to the chapel, causing significant delays, however by some miracle the weather cleared into a gorgeous blue sky just as Julia arrived to the chapel. “It was quite magical, it was like the sky’s parted for us… Our ceremony was held at the historical Chapelle Expiatoire in the heart of Paris, where we exchanged vows followed by a whirlwind photo-shoot around Paris capturing some exceptional memories beside the iconic Eiffel tower and surrounding areas.”
The couple then celebrated with their loved ones at their glamorous and stylish reception held at the Westin Vendome, starting with cocktail hour in the Winter Garden, followed by dinner and dancing in one of the historical ballrooms where guests were entertained by a Parisian Jazz Band until the early hours of the morning.
