“As I sat there wearing my least attractive lounge wear, I cringed as my crazy Greek family asked him: “When will you be getting married?”. Vinny sat there smiling and answering each of their specific questions, and Amalia couldn’t help but fall more in love with him. It was on that night that their journey began!”

The Proposal

“Vinny proposed to me on our last night on a holiday in Bali, Indonesia. We went to our favourite beach bar for after dinner drinks and Vinny asked to go for a walk on the beach which wasn’t unusual and definitely didn’t make me suspicious. As we walked on the dark beach, he steered me towards a darker area. I asked: “Why on earth are we were walking this way?” He looked at me with the most nervous face I have ever seen, dropped on both his knees and asked to spend forever with me. In complete shock, I also dropped on my knees and we shared the most special moment.”

The Wedding

“Walking down the aisle with my dad by my side, hearing the loud hymning and bells in the church with 300 sets of eyes on us… Vinny refers to that moment as ‘An angel walking towards me’, having seen a a bright white light when the church doors opened and my silhouette began walking towards him. We both agree it was the most magical moment and better than we ever expected.”

Unique Element

“During the canapes part of our reception, instead of hiding out in the green room and being revealed for the first time once everyone was seated, we opted to mingle with our guests. This gave us the opportunity to chat, drink and share moments with our family and friends. Our guests agreed that it was special to spend the extra time together and thought it set the vibe for the fun wedding that was about to begin.“
