Affordable Bridalwear From French Connection Draws on Muses Like Kate Moss

For the bride who dreams of a bohemian gown like the ones donned by the British fashion elite, French Connection has come to the rescue with a new line of high-street bridalwear that won’t hurt your pockets.

Launching in February 2018, the Spring/Summer collection is a budget-friendly range of whimsical designs inspired by the likes of Kate Moss, Bianca Jagger, and Poppy Delevingne.

Channelling bohemian and romantic styles, the new collection will range from AUD $110 to $430 and will include floaty, embellished dresses, tailored lace trousers, and flowy skirts.

Speaking to Vogue UK, French Connection’s design director Maria Chen said the range came about after they saw many customers purchasing dresses from their main collection for their weddings.

“It felt like a natural progression to launch a wedding capsule. With the growing trend of wedding dresses that don’t blow the budget, as well as bride’s wearing multiple outfits on the day, the idea was welcomed by our inner circle of brides-to-be.”

With the excitement for the affordable luxury line growing, French Connection also plans on introducing seasonal bridal looks to cater to all brides and bridesmaids year-round.
