Danielle and Arturo were together since the tender age of 19, so the marriage proposal had been a long moment in the making…
“I had imagined getting proposed to my whole life but nothing will ever compare to that moment. It was Christmas day at my family home, when he took me in a room filled with balloons, flowers and candles. Barry White’s ‘I can’t get enough of your love’ was playing in the background. Once he proposed, he took me outside and surprised me with our families. We spent Christmas lunch with both our families and the most exciting news – that we were getting married!”

“There were so many amazing moments of the night, from the best man’s speech, to the packed dance floor (my brother took his shirt off while on someone’s shoulders), to the moment when Arturo and I snuck out for a quick night photoshoot. The photographer gave the two of us a moment to ourselves, to just take it all in (one of my favourite parts). Also, when my husband and I sat back while eating our main meals and looked around the marquee, watching our dearest family and friends who took the time out of their lives to celebrate our special day. We could really feel the love in the room.”

“The most unique part of our day was when I sang “Can’t Help Falling In Love” to my husband. Being a singer, I have performed at so many weddings and I could finally sing at my own and give something unique and special to my husband. It was one of the most emotional, raw moments of the night, and it felt like it was just the two of us in the room.”
