Married At First Sight contestants Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant were a fan-favourite from the start. Their loving relationship bloomed on the reality TV show, as millions of Australians watched. But now, there appears to be trouble in paradise, according to multiple claims from those close to the couple.
However, a well-placed insider told Woman’s Day that the couple has hit a “rough patch” and are facing backlash from family and friends for moving too fast. “Nobody quite understands why they needed to be engaged and married all within a year of meeting each other. The couple’s circle is worried that they feel like they have to make things work to retain that TV power couple status,” says the source.
Last month Cam and Jules revealed they would be postponing their Hunter Valley wedding, which had been planned to take place in mid-September to mark their one year anniversary. The reason being, it was all too soon for the couple, and with Jules’ ongoing focus on her fitness journey, they felt that they needed to take things slower.
Only last week, Jules was spotted crying in Sydney, with one onlooker saying Jules looked “visibly upset” and “out of character”.
While nothing has been confirmed by the couple, we really do hope that this isn’t true, as they have truly been one of the most successful and sweet couples to come out of the Married At First Sight series!
