We’ve all dreamt about it at one point, whether as a child or an adult (#guilty), having the ultimate Disney themed and costume wedding, but this couple did it!
Lisa and Stephen Randoll of St. Louis, USA, married last weekend in what would have to be the most ultimate Disney themed wedding!
Disney had always played an important theme in their relationship, with their first date centring around seeing the Disney film Frozen together:
“On our first date, we watched Frozen together and it kind of became a centrepiece of our story,” Lisa said. “I also have always loved Christmas – like a lot.”
They met at St. Charles Community College where they both teach and started a friendship. Soon their bonding over a shared love of history, politics, pop culture and the Cardinals turned their friendship into a relationship.
The couple wed on December 3 and the bridal party included a costumed Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel, and of course the bride Elsa! Also, the flowergirl was dressed as Anna from Frozen.
The couple travelled to Forest Park and Ameristar to take their fairy-tale photos with their photographer Holly Duvall, of HollyAnne Photography.
What did the groom have to say about it all we hear you ask?
“I was on board with it,” Stephen insisted, “At first, it was like, OK a themed wedding? It’s not traditional, but then, we’re not traditional people.”
“I never really thought that I would get married,” Lisa said. “Up until I met him, I never looked at wedding dresses. I never looked at reception halls. I never thought about any of that stuff because I never thought it would ever happen.”
Awwww, bless! It seems that some of us are lucky enough to have a fairy-tale wedding Fairies! Just remember to live by
