EliteSingles Australia conducted a survey with over 400 Aussies and discovered that this year, the most desirable gift is a simple love letter.

Yep, you read that right!
According to the survey, 57% of Aussies said their dream present would be a heartfelt love letter or poem, ranking higher than the classic fancy restaurant move (chosen by 29%.) As for flowers and chocolates? Only 9% of Aussie found that to be a romantic gesture.
